Four women share a snapshot of their lives. Of the ordinary, the sad, the exciting and the troublesome.

“Maybe Bach” – Andrea is reading a romantic novel, waiting in a cafe for online date to arrive;

“At the Centre” – She’s waiting to visit her husband from a rehabilitation centre. She shares her story as she waits to go in.

“MRI” – Fran is in hospital having an MRI and we see there is more to Fran than meets the eye as she conjures up another character Marta who may be her alter-ego?

“Boo Boo Be Do” – Courtney is a Marilyn Monroe look-alike, “Andy Warhol airbrushed supernova lashes lips bosom arse and hips”. We follow her steam-rolling stream of consciousness from bedroom to backstage, as she smooches and schmoozes her way down the catwalk, waiting for her big break.

‘Waiting’ is by turns funny and sad, brashly comic and quietly desperate, as the clock moves relentlessly forward through the lives of these very different women.
