Earlier this year, TNA conducted the fourth edition of This Is How We Do It 2024: TNA’s Report on the Working Trends of Independent Artists and Creatives in the Performing Arts in Australia a biennial survey on the working trends of independent artists and creatives in the performing arts in Australia which received a total of 273 valid responses.
In the report you can learn what the going rates are for performing artists, and considerations when setting fees. Delve into the data around difficult topics such as finances, insurance, superannuation and mental health.
The report aims to assist the sector to advocate for and implement best practice that will lead to more equitable fees and working conditions for independents.
The final section of the report shares observations and recommendations that address issues arising from the data.
