PATCHWORK with Marion Matthews

Get creative at Glyph Gallery and Creative Space in Port Fairy

This workshop is designed to give you a range of skills to be able to confidently take your patchwork to a new level. Learn to cut confidently with a rotary cutter, and make log-cabin, half square triangles, quarter square triangle and flying geese, all in a very quick, simple process. On the final day of the workshop, bring them together to make your quilt of your own design.

Any question please contact Marion: 0428825971

Materials list to be brought to the workshop by each student

  • Sewing machine in good working order, extension cord and power board.
  • General sewing requirements, cutting board, patchwork ruler, and rotary cutter (some will be available for loan in class if you don’t have them) fabric scissors
  • Good quality thread for the sewing machine to coordinate with your fabric I often use grey or fawn
